Meadows Race Team

Ski Portillo, South America’s first ski resort, is renowned worldwide. The ski-in/ski-out resort is open from late June to September, during the North American summer. Located in the heart of the Chilean Andes and surrounded by stunning peaks.  The resort is all inclusive - lodging, meals, lift tickets.  For a full list of what they offer please visit their website. 

Ski Portillo - Details:

• Dates: Check-in Saturday, Aug 17th, 2024, Check-out Saturday, Aug 24th, 2024.
• Transportation will be provided between the Santiago Airport and Portillo. 
• We will ski for 6-7 days, train gates, have fun after ski activities, rub shoulders with national teams, and much more. 
• Team Travel or Family Travel Options available 
• Airfare is not included.
• U12 and up welcome.
• U12 athletes must be accompanied by a parent; U14+ eligible to travel with the team.

Estimated cost per person: 

The total trip cost will depend on which type of accommodations the athlete and/or family choose in Portillo. All athletes traveling with the team will stay in the Inca Lodge.  The room cost includes lodging, lift tickets, all meals, and access to the Portillo facilities (e.g., pool, hot tubs, sauna, gym, etc..), Room rates do not include a tip for the staff or additional food and beverage purchases (e.g., alcoholic beverages for those 21+).

Team lodging estimated Cost: ~$2,500: Includes Round trip transportation from Santiago Airport to Portillo, Coaching & Gates for 7 days, Lodging/meals/lift tickets for the week, planned activities and presentations & gratuity (Does Not include airfare)

• Team travel athletes will be managed by Coach Katy throughout the trip.  Travel will be coordinated to ensure athletes have chaperoning throughout.  All lodging arrangements will be handled by the team.  

Training Only estimated Cost: ~$800: Includes Coaching fees, lane space & training expenses, planned activities and presentations

• If you plan to travel as a family, you will book directly with Ski Portillo.  Coach Katy will provide those details once you have paid the deposit.  
• Book before March 31 to secure the 2023 pricing (prices have increased for 2024)
